WHY I LOVE BEING AN INSURANCE BROKER:

My background is finance having worked at a big green bank for 8 years. I worked with families to create sound - low risk portfolios that would take them comfortably through retirement. When the proper life plan is in place, there is a great peace of mind that allows you to focus on life's other great enjoyments.

Insurance is an integral part of that plan most people forget about until it is needed and usually too late. Be it short term insurance to make sure the family is taken care in their time of need, or long term permanent insurance to cover those hiccups in life right through to the end. I enjoy the process of walking them through the discovery of how insurance can help them sleep better at night.

WHAT CLIENTS CAN EXPECT FROM ME:

Having worked with many families over the years, I have developed a low pressure, honest, transparent and a gentle approach to life insurance. My clients can expect me to take the time to explain the insurance process in everyday terms that are easy to understand. After doing an in-depth needs analysis, I offer solutions that will cover any gaps we identify. These may include everything from short term to long term disability, critical illness insurance and managing final expenses to transitioning the family cottage. I walk through and explain any insurance proposals until you and your family are comfortable in your understanding.

Having also consulted with corporate clients that have a need for tax planning, we implement a great insurance strategy that is tax advantaged and becoming increasingly prominent with holding companies that have large CDA's.

WHEN I'M NOT AT WORK:

I enjoy spending time with my kids, golfing, sailing and curling.
